Romsdal museum - Krona
We were pleasantly surprised by the Romsdal Museum. The modern museum Krona gave us very interesting insight into the history of Molde. The recreated village was delightful and peaceful. We were able to watch Norwegian school children dressed in costโข 4 Jul 2026 -

The Tenement House
I visited a while back on my first trip to Glasgow. I was on an ancestral trail of my grandad and great grandparents life. ( I grew up in America) The tenement museum is a beautifully preserved museum of tenement life that my grandfather and grandpaโข 3 Jul 2026 -
Visited a long time back. Itโs beautifully preserved. Worth a visit especially if youโre a Rabbie Burns fan! Donโt forget to visit the Burns museum a bit down the road and see the Brig O Doon.โข 3 Jul 2026

Linlithgow Palace
Incredible castle ruin. We were staying in Linlithgow and this is one site to NOT miss. The history itself is incredible. There was scaffolding in parts but itโs a ruin. It needs maintenance. In the courtyard though you could just visualize what spleโข 3 Jul 2026 -

Riverside Museum
Visited long time ago and it was fantastic. And free! Incredibly loaded with all kinds of interesting stuff. My great grandfather was a tram conductor near Govan Hill Glasgow. To be able to see & touch such a vehicle that used to drive the streets oโข 3 Jul 2026 -
I visited this museum quite a few years ago while it was a bit quiet and smaller; while visiting the south. I love history and at the time, there wasnโt as much as there is now. The fact you can enter a long ago building and touch history. I reallyโข 3 Jul 2026
