The Picasso Museum in Paris (Musée Picasso Paris) is housed in the Hotel Salé, where it gives an overview of the work of Pablo Picasso. The collection by Picasso is the largest collection in the world of works by Picasso, who spent a large part of his life in France and is organized thematically. In 1979, the French state received 203 paintings, 158 sculptures, 29 relief paintings, 88 earthenware objects, 15 collages, nearly 1500 drawings, 30 drawing folders and 1600 engravings, with all periods in his works represented. The artist's personal art collection has been housed on the third floor since 2014.
