At the Groote Museum you will discover where we come from, how we are connected and what we depend on. With these insights about yourself and your relationship to other life, the question "where are we going?" comes closer. But it starts with you. In the Groote Museum you go on a personal expedition, with your body as the starting point. You look into a mirror in which you discover more and more. Similarities with plants, other animals and even microbes. You start to see cross-references. What your intestines do, for example, the roots of a tree do too. When you crawled on the ground as a baby, you moved the same way as a crocodile. Similarities like these make you look at yourself and the world around you differently. You appear to be connected to everything that lives, right down to your smallest fibers. And much more dependent than you thought.

The Groote Museum in Amsterdam offers visitors an engaging exploration of the interconnections between humans and nature. Located in the historic Artis Royal Zoo, this recently renovated museum presents a thoughtful and interactive experience. Visitors appreciate the museum's modern approach to presenting natural history, with exhibits that encourage reflection on our relationship with the environment.
The museum's strengths lie in its innovative use of technology and its ability to present complex topics in an accessible manner. Many reviewers highlight the museum's focus on sustainability and the ethical questions surrounding human impact on nature. The exhibits are described as visually appealing and well-curated, with a good balance of information and interactive elements.
However, some visitors note that the museum is relatively small, which may not justify the ticket price for some. Additionally, a few reviewers mention that some exhibits could benefit from more in-depth information, particularly for those seeking a more comprehensive educational experience.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall sentiment towards the Groote Museum is very positive. Visitors generally find the experience thought-provoking and enjoyable, praising the museum's ability to spark conversations about important environmental topics. The museum's integration with the surrounding zoo adds value to the overall experience, making it a worthwhile stop for both locals and tourists interested in natural history and environmental issues.

Leuke benaderingen vanuit oa reuk, tast, seks. Helaas veel gemiste kansen (of kinderziektes). Nergens desinfectie o.i.d. Systeem bagage kluisjes werkt slecht of niet. Hoop op verbetering!
