The Fabrique des Lumières in Amsterdam offers an immersive digital art experience that many visitors find captivating. Housed in a former gas plant, the venue's industrial architecture adds to the atmosphere. The exhibitions feature large-scale projections of famous artworks, accompanied by music, creating a multisensory environment.

Positive aspects frequently mentioned include the scale of the projections, the quality of the visual effects, and how the shows bring art to life in an innovative way. Many appreciate the blend of technology and art, finding it an engaging way to experience classic and contemporary works.

However, some visitors note that the experience can be repetitive if staying for extended periods. A few mention that the venue can get crowded, which may impact the viewing experience. Some also feel that the ticket prices are high for the length of the shows.

The museum is generally praised for its accessibility and the uniqueness of its concept. It's often recommended for both art enthusiasts and those looking for a different cultural experience in Amsterdam.

While most find it enjoyable, expectations should be managed - it's more of an immersive show than a traditional museum. Overall, the Fabrique des Lumières offers a modern, technology-driven approach to experiencing art that appeals to many visitors.

Overrated and some staff need additional customer service training. We got there less than an hour before the end of a show and the lady selling the tickets only mentioned in passing that "the show has already started" after selling us the rather expensive for what you get tickets. It's a warehouse with projectors. To clarify, I am a fan of technology being used to create new experiences. I like VR etc but this is just "good" and short for the entry price. The main thing lasts about half an hour and then you get two more shorter 10-15 minutes "shows" with a different theme. After less than an hour we got kicked out like thieves by the rather rude security man/janitor and barely allowed to use the bathroom before leaving as he was knocking on the stall door and watching us while washing our hands. Worst experience in Amsterdam. So many better things to do with your time and money while there.
