Olmen is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp, located in the Campine region. It was an independent municipality until 1977 when it became part of the larger municipality of Balen. The village has maintained its rural character, with agriculture historically playing an important role in its development.
The area is characterized by its natural landscapes, including pine forests and heathlands typical of the Campine region. In December 2022, Olmen gained international attention when a group of lottery players from the village won a significant EuroMillions prize. The village has a traditional Flemish character, with the Saint Willibrordus Church serving as a central landmark in the community.
