West Clandon is a village and civil parish located in Surrey, England, situated about 3 miles east of Guildford. The village is known for its historic Clandon Park, an 18th-century Palladian mansion managed by the National Trust.
Before a devastating fire in 2015, this grand house was one of the region's most complete examples of a Palladian mansion, featuring impressive collections of furniture, porcelain, and textiles. The surrounding area features typical Surrey countryside with rolling hills and woodland.
The village itself maintains a rural character with historic buildings, including the 12th-century church of St Peter and St Paul, which represents an important part of the local cultural heritage.
