Geddington is a historic village in Northamptonshire, England, notable for being home to one of only three surviving Eleanor Crosses. These crosses were commissioned by King Edward I in the late 13th century to mark the places where his wife Queen Eleanor's funeral procession stopped on its way from Lincoln to London. The Geddington Cross, standing in the village center, is considered the best-preserved of the remaining crosses and represents a significant piece of medieval English architecture.

The village, situated along the River Ise, has maintained much of its traditional character with historic stone buildings and a medieval bridge. The village's history is also connected to the royal hunting grounds of Rockingham Forest, as it once served as a royal hunting lodge during the medieval period.
