Saint Fagans is a village on the western outskirts of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. It is primarily known as the home of St Fagans National Museum of History (formerly called the Museum of Welsh Life), one of Wales's most important cultural institutions. The village itself developed around St Fagans Castle, a Grade I listed Elizabethan manor house built in 1580, which now forms part of the museum grounds.
