The Salmovský Palace is a large Classicist palace-type building in Prague with an exhibition of the National Gallery of the 19th Century from Classicism to Romanticism on the 1st and 2nd floor. The ground floor serves for short-term exhibitions. The building was commissioned by the Prague Archbishop Vilém Florentin, Prince Salm-Salm between 1800–1811, to a design by František Pávíček in a place where several smaller aristocratic residences stood before. At that time it served as a luxury residential building.

Many visitors appreciate the well-curated exhibitions that showcase both Czech and international artists. The collection includes works by renowned painters such as Gustav Klimt and Alphonse Mucha, providing a comprehensive overview of art movements from the past two centuries.
The palace's architecture itself is often noted as a highlight, with its grand rooms and ornate details adding to the overall experience. Some visitors mention that the space is well-utilized, allowing for comfortable viewing of the artworks.
However, some reviewers point out that the museum could benefit from more detailed information about the artworks in English.
