The Lobkowicz Palace (in Prague Castle) is a palace in Prague that functions as a museum that shows part of the art collection of the noble family The House of Lobkowicz, one of the oldest Bohemian noble families. The collection contains works by old masters (including Rubens, Pieter Brueghel, Jan Brueghel, Canaletto, Lucas Cranach the Old, Alonso Sánchez Coello, Diego Velázquez) and applied art (with armor, weapons, relics and precious metalwork, Bohemian and Meissen porcelain, Delftware), sheet music, old prints and manuscripts. The collection is exhibited here in the Prague palace, but the pieces come from different castles of the family

Lobkowicz Palace has 1 rating.
Lobkowicz Palace, located in the Prague Castle complex, offers visitors a rich glimpse into Czech history and aristocratic life. The museum houses an impressive collection of art, including works by masters like Canaletto and Bruegel, as well as historical artifacts and musical instruments. Many visitors appreciate the audio guide narrated by family members, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The palace's well-preserved interiors and the panoramic views of Prague from its cafe are often highlighted as standout features. However, some guests find the admission price relatively high, and a few mention that certain areas of the palace can feel crowded during peak times. Despite these minor drawbacks, the majority of visitors find the Lobkowicz Palace to be a worthwhile addition to their Prague itinerary, offering a different perspective on Czech culture and history compared to other attractions in the city.
