The Plovdiv Regional Historical Museum (Regional History Museum - Plovdiv) is dedicated to the past of Plovdiv and its region in the period from the 15the century until the 20th century. The museum holds a collection of over 60,000 pieces, including a collections of cold steel and firearms, orders and medals, armament, printed publications, photos and documents, apparel and everyday life items. The collection is devided over four exhibitions: The Bulgarian National Revival, Book Publishing in Bulgaria in the second half of 19th and the beginning of 20th century, The Unification of Bulgaria of 1885 and the Museum Centre of Modern History.
