Planetário Calouste Gulbenkian has 1 rating.

  • Apollo's Insights AI-Generated

The Planetário Calouste Gulbenkian in Lisbon, Portugal, offers an engaging experience for astronomy enthusiasts and curious visitors alike. This planetarium provides informative shows about space, the universe, and celestial bodies. Many visitors appreciate the quality of the presentations and the immersive dome-projection technology. The staff is generally described as knowledgeable and helpful.

While the content is praised for being educational and suitable for various age groups, some reviewers mention that not all shows are available in multiple languages, which can be a drawback for international visitors. The facility is well-maintained, but a few visitors note that some of the exhibits or equipment could benefit from updates.

The planetarium's location within the Belém district adds to its appeal, as visitors can combine it with other nearby attractions. However, some find the ticket prices slightly high, especially for larger families.

Overall, the Planetário Calouste Gulbenkian provides a good balance of education and entertainment, making it a worthwhile stop for those interested in astronomy or looking for an indoor activity in Lisbon. Keep in mind that the experience might be more rewarding if you can attend a show in a language you understand.
