MU.ZEE is the museum of Belgian art. The museum owns a collection of Belgian art from 1850 to now. Highlights in Mu.ZEE’s collection are works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, especially by artists as James Ensor, Spilliaert and Constant Permeke. The total collection includes 3,500 works. The collection also features expressionism, with works by Jean Brusselmans and Paul Joosten, with more than 350 collages. Additionally, there are works by Luc Tuymans, Panamarenko, Roger Raveel, Georges Vantongerloo and Raoul De Keyser.
