Memoriaal Prins Karel and its collection

Memoriaal Prins Karel
Source

The Prince Charles Memorial introduces visitors to the life of Prince Charles (1903-1983). After being regent of Belgium for six years, Prince Charles settled in a simple fisherman's house in Ostend. This home has been redecorated as it once looked. The distinct furnishings consist of various variegated colors. There are objects on display that recall the royal family and some of his paintings. Among them are Napoleon's chair, sculptures by Queen Elisabeth and a portrait of Leopold II.
