The Markiezenhof is a late gothic, medieval city palace. The palace houses three museums: the Stad- & regiomuseum, the Spotprentenmuseum en the Kermismuseum. The palace consists of several rooms, corridors, towers, courtyards and gardens that illustrate the history of the city. The kermismuseum displays miniatures and parts of old fairground attractions. The Spotprentenmuseum displays works by Dutch and Belgian cartoonists and political cartoonists.

Prachtig gebouw. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer afwisselende tentoonstellingen waardoor voor ieder wat wils. Verschillende ruimtes zijn ingericht met meubels en servies. Informatie wordt er op een ludieke manier gebracht. Interessante informatie over Bergen op Zoom en zijn geschiedenis. Mooie miniatuur kermis. Alles beweegt en maakt geluid. Leuk café met uitzicht op de binnentuin. Na je bezoek kun je nog genieten van de historische straatjes in Bergen op Zoom.
