The Archaeological and Paleontological Museum Hertogsgemaal is housed in an old pumping station built from 1940 to 1945. The museum holds a collection consisting largely of archaeological finds and reconstructions from ancient times. The collection consists of four sections: the Stone Age, the Ice Age, the Middle Ages and World War II. Most of the finds were made in and around 's-Hertogenbosch.
