Museum Kruithuis is located on the edge of the center of 's-Hertogenbosch and offers a unique insight into the history of the Eighty Years' War, the siege of 1629 and the special role of water. With this exhibition, Kring Vrienden takes you on an impressive journey through time in the only remaining powder magazine from that era in the Netherlands. Here you will experience the whole story from different perspectives, rather than just that of the victor. Through eyewitness accounts, personal stories and historical lessons you will be drawn into a world full of stories. And after your visit to the museum you can have a nice chat in the Grand Café 1629.
