Talkeetna is a historic small town located in southcentral Alaska, situated at the confluence of three rivers: the Susitna, Chulitna, and Talkeetna. The community serves as a gateway to Denali National Park and is particularly known as a base camp for mountaineers attempting to climb Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley).
