Stoneleigh is a historic village and civil parish in Warwickshire, England. Located between Coventry and Leamington Spa, the village is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and historic Stoneleigh Abbey, a former Cistercian monastery dating back to the 12th century. The abbey later became a country house and was visited by notable figures including Jane Austen.
The village maintains its rural character with traditional English countryside features, ancient woodlands, and the River Avon flowing nearby. The area has a rich agricultural heritage and hosts various cultural events throughout the year at the National Agricultural Centre, now known as Stoneleigh Park, which has been an important venue for agricultural shows and exhibitions since the mid-20th century.
