Portogruaro is a historic town located in the Metropolitan City of Venice, in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. Founded in the 12th century along the Lemene River, the town developed as an important commercial port and trading center.
The medieval character of Portogruaro is still visible today in its well-preserved architecture, including its iconic leaning bell towers of the Town Hall and numerous Gothic-style buildings.
