Pinner is a historic suburb in the London Borough of Harrow, located in northwest London. Originally an ancient hamlet, Pinner has maintained much of its historic character, particularly in its old village center which features the 14th-century St John the Baptist Church and several Tudor buildings.

The area experienced significant growth during the early 20th century following the arrival of the Metropolitan Railway (now part of the London Underground's Metropolitan line). Pinner is notable for being the birthplace of several cultural figures, including the musician Sir Elton John and the actor Patrick Moore.

The suburb maintains a strong community feel with its annual Pinner Fair, one of the oldest chartered fairs in England, dating back to 1336. The area blends its historical heritage with modern suburban life, featuring a mix of Victorian and 1930s architecture alongside contemporary developments.
