Oberschleißheim is a municipality located in the district of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The town is primarily known for its impressive baroque palace complex, which consists of three palaces: the Old Palace (Altes Schloss), the New Palace (Neues Schloss), and Lustheim Palace.

These architectural landmarks were built between the 16th and 18th centuries as summer residences for the Bavarian Electors. The New Palace, designed by Enrico Zuccalli and Giovanni Antonio Viscardi, is particularly notable for its grand baroque architecture and extensive formal gardens. The palace complex now houses part of the Bavarian State Painting Collections.

The town is also home to one of Europe's oldest airports, the Schleißheim Special Landing Field, which today hosts the Flugwerft Schleißheim, a branch of the Deutsches Museum dedicated to aviation history.
