Free museums in Liège

Wittert - Collections artistiques de l'Université de Liège includes some 40,000 works of art, including prints and drawings old paintings of the 15th and 16th centuries, coins, medals, African art and sculptures.

The Madmuseum displays over 1800 works by artists with intellectual disabilities from different countries. This international collection is unique heritage in its genre and is often associated with Art Brut, art outside the norm, on the margins or outsider.

The Sart-Tilman Open Air Museum displays a collection of 110 pieces of art, providing an overview of contemporary outdoor sculpture of the last forty years in French-speaking Belgium.
