Guadalaviar is a small municipality located in the Sierra de Albarracín comarca of Teruel province, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. Situated at an elevation of approximately 1,700 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest municipalities in the region. The town takes its name from the Guadalaviar River, which originates nearby and is also known as the Turia River in its lower course.
