Corinne is a historic city located in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. Founded in 1869 during the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad, it was originally established as a non-Mormon settlement in what was predominantly Mormon territory. The city was named after Corinne Williamson, the daughter of General J.A. Williamson, then chief of the Government Land Office.

During its early years, Corinne served as an important railroad hub and transfer point, earning it the nickname "The Gentile Capital of Utah." Though its prominence as a railroad center eventually declined, the city maintains its historical significance in Utah's development.

Today, Corinne is a small agricultural community that preserves elements of its railroad heritage while offering visitors a glimpse into Utah's diverse cultural history.
