Capaccio Paestum is a town in the province of Salerno, Campania, known worldwide for its remarkable archaeological heritage. The area is home to some of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples outside of Greece, part of the archaeological site of Paestum. Originally founded as Poseidonia by Greek colonists around 600 BCE, the settlement later became the Roman city of Paestum.

The town combines its rich archaeological heritage with modern agricultural traditions, particularly the production of buffalo mozzarella.
