The Zwanenbroedershuis is a Neo-Gothic building. It is still the house where members of the ‘Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap’ meet. Besides the interior itself, the museum exhibits objects from the 16th and 17th centuries, including antique chairs with coats of arms, Neo-Gothic closets, a Neo-Gothic stove, handwritten choir books and jugs used by William of Orange. Coats of arms and books about coats of arms show what kind of people were members of the ‘Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap’.

The Zwanenbroedershuis, located in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, offers visitors a glimpse into the history of the Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap (Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Blessed Lady). This small museum is housed in a well-preserved 16th-century building, which adds to its charm and historical authenticity.
Visitors appreciate the museum's rich collection of artifacts, including medieval manuscripts, religious objects, and paintings. The exhibits provide insight into the brotherhood's traditions and its significant role in the city's cultural and religious history. Many reviewers highlight the beautiful chapel and the detailed explanations provided about the brotherhood's customs and rituals.
While the museum receives positive feedback for its historical value and well-curated displays, some visitors note that it may not appeal to everyone due to its specialized focus. The museum is relatively small, which some find limiting, but others appreciate for its manageability and intimate atmosphere.
Audio guides are available and generally praised for their informative content, helping visitors to better understand the context of the exhibits. However, some reviewers mention that not all information is available in multiple languages, which can be a drawback for international visitors.

In summary, the Zwanenbroedershuis offers a well-presented and educational experience for those interested in local history, religious orders, and medieval culture.
