Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Georgia, offers visitors a drive-through wildlife experience. The park allows guests to observe and interact with various animals from the comfort of their own vehicles or the park's safari buses. Many reviewers appreciate the close encounters with exotic animals, including zebras, bison, and giraffes. The opportunity to feed animals is often highlighted as a memorable experience.

Positive aspects frequently mentioned include the variety of animals, the park's well-maintained condition, and the educational value for children and adults alike. The staff is generally described as friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience.

However, some visitors note that the experience can be somewhat dependent on the animals' activity levels and willingness to approach vehicles. A few reviewers mention that the park can get busy during peak times, potentially leading to traffic congestion on the drive-through route.

The walking safari area, which includes smaller animals and a petting zoo, receives mixed reviews. While some find it a nice addition to the drive-through experience, others feel it could be more extensive or better maintained.

Overall, Wild Animal Safari provides an engaging and interactive wildlife experience that appeals to families and animal enthusiasts. While it may not offer the depth of a traditional zoo, it compensates with unique, up-close animal encounters.

    READ BEFORE GOING HERE!!!

We had went to Wild Animal Safari on 08/23 and had booked the capybara experience ahead of time for 1:15pm. We arrived at 12:30pm and started the drive through safari tour which was wonderful we wrapped up at 1:20 which was a bit behind our schedule, but went directly to the yellow house and asked the nice lady at the desk if we could still attend and she said yes just up into the walk around enclosures and meet the guide. We head up there and are unable to find anyone for the encounter. We head back down and tell the lady we weren’t able to find anyone are we able to still do it? She walkies and says no problem just head up and the keeper will meet you. We were all super excited and happy they were still able to accommodate us. We get up to the enclosure and two ladies are waiting for us. One is very welcoming and the other YELLS “you made us look horrible, you were late and you said we couldn’t find you”. I wasn’t sure why she was saying this as all I had said to the lady was that we had got here around 1:20 but couldn’t find them walking around. She didn’t want to believe me and kept blaming me for not being here on time and was very unwelcoming about it. I asked if she had a problem and she said “yes you made us look bad and lied about us not being there”. I was pretty distraught that they would accuse me of lying when we were simply late and couldn’t find them. She then proceeded to continue to berate me in front of other customers and told me they will be rescheduling because she will not be dealing with us. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WISE and the most demeaning gross lady I have dealt with. We left and went to the office to get a refund which they had processed and I had asked for names of the employees from the manager and the manager concluded that I was at fault for being late and I shouldn’t have lied (said I couldn’t find them). He said that I was never yelled at and was lying about my story as the employees had already talked to him. Even though I had 2 other people with me and about 5 other people watching what happened. He would not give me the names of himself or the two keepers of the capybaras of course for protection. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE CAPYBARA EXPERIENCE. THE WORST AND RUDEST EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER MET. ACTUALLY DON’T GO HERE

EDIT:: I was able to find the RUDE employee who works the capybara enclosure. Her name is Melanie and she was the rudest employee I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Make sure to cancel your experience if it is with her!!! And don’t be late if it is!
