Wiels Centre for Contemporary Art is located in the former Wielemans-Ceuppens brewery. The center's objective is to present contemporary art in all its facets and to bring the public in touch with it. The museum focusses especially on projects that highlight its similarities with other disciplines. The centre does not deal with collection development, but focuses on seasonal and temporary activities.
