The Royal London Museum and its collection

The museum closed in 2020. The collections can be accessed by appointment in the Barts Health NHS Trust Archives searchroom, but there is no longer a public museum space at the Royal London Hospital. The Royal London Hospital museum held collections that document the hospital from its earliest days, as well as some of patients, nurses and doctors who have passed through the doors of the hospital doors. Visitors could learn more about the hospital’s history, its role in the development of modern medicine, and key figures including Edith Cavell and Joseph Merrick.
