The North Sea Aquarium is home to a variety of special and rare fish species. In addition to these, visitors can also see fish that are characteristic of Vorupør, including cod, plaice, tongues, turbot, and eel. This diverse collection provides a unique opportunity to learn about the marine life in the North Sea.
The North Sea Aquarium's collection of fish is sourced from the local coastal fishermen in the town. The aquarium boasts more than 80 different fish species, all swimming in naturalistic environments across 16 different saltwater aquariums. This offers visitors a chance to see a wide range of marine life in settings that mimic their natural habitats.
The North Sea Aquarium also features a special touch pool for children. This interactive feature allows younger visitors to get up close and personal with some of the marine life, providing a fun and educational experience.
