The Tandslet Transformer Museum, nestled between Over Tandslet and Neder Tandslet in the Sรธnderborg Municipality, is one of Denmark's smallest museums. This unique location, situated in the Syddanmark region on Als, offers visitors a chance to explore a piece of Danish history in an intimate setting.
Constructed in 1922, the transformer house that hosts the museum is a testament to Danish architectural history. The red bricks used in its construction were supplied by the Gรธllinggaard Teglvรฆrk in Stevning. The building features Gothic style elements, designed according to the standard drawings of the engineering office Eriksen and Sardemann in Aarhus.
While the Tandslet Transformer Museum does not have set opening hours, visitors can access the museum by borrowing a key from the nearby health center located near the Tandslet Church. This flexible arrangement allows tourists to visit the museum at their convenience.
