Strutt's North Mill. Belper is no longer a museum in Belper. The museum closed at the end of 2022, however a group of dedicated volunteers are continuing to run Industrial Heritage tours from the Mill base at Archway House. The history of the Mill and the Strutt family is explained along with a visit to the Mill basement where the pioneering construction of the mill can be explored. Other tours are run around Belper where the influence of the Strutt cotton mill development during the industrial revolution can be shown on the town and it's mill workers.
