St George's Hall and its collection

St. George's Hall is a prominent Neo-Classical building in Liverpool, constructed between 1841 and 1854. Designed by architect Harvey Lonsdale Elmes, it serves as a combined venue for cultural events and legal proceedings, originally housing both a concert hall and courtrooms. The exterior is notable for its grand Corinthian columns and sculpted friezes, while the interior features a vast Great Hall with a mosaic floor and renowned acoustics. The building played a central role in Liverpool's civic life, hosting public gatherings and legal matters, and remains an important cultural and architectural landmark today.

We got married 12/07/21. From the start of our journey to the day we got married we were treated with such kindness we can not praise the staff enough. They all went above and beyond to make the whole experience the most memorable day. The staff are worth more than their weight in gold.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
