Royal Ordnance Factory Museum of La Cavada has 2 ratings.
I had seen cannon guns in movies and historical articles but never wondered about their production. I was amazed to discover that ALL of those that expanded and protected the Spanish Empire in its ships and forts were made on this one site from materials sourced in the area. It’s a great source of information about their manufacture and relevance, presented through intricate models, documents, paintings and equipment. I needed my phone to translate as the information is all in Spanish but the attendant was very helpful.
