The Oberlausitzer Forstmuseum originated from an exhibition on forest work, set up in a room of the former school in 2001. Over the years, the museum has expanded its exhibits to include the "Forester's Room" in 2005 and the "Forest Surveying and Forest Maps" exhibition in 2007. These additions provide a comprehensive insight into the history and practice of forestry.
