The National Health Insurance Museum is situated at the Château des Lauriers in Lormont, within the Gironde department. The château, built in 1860, is surrounded by a park filled with century-old trees, providing a serene and picturesque setting for visitors.
Permanent Exhibition
The museum's permanent exhibition is spread across nine rooms. It includes a detailed reconstruction of a cash bank and the offices of a section chief and a liquidator, transporting visitors back in time and providing a glimpse into the workings of the social protection system.
