Visitors can expect to see a variety of exhibits showcasing tobacco-related artifacts, farming tools, and information on the economic impact of tobacco in the region.

The museum provides a comprehensive overview of the tobacco industry, from cultivation techniques to the social and cultural aspects of smoking. Many visitors appreciate the detailed explanations and the opportunity to learn about a crop that has played a significant role in the area's history. The museum also touches on the health implications of tobacco use, presenting a balanced view of the subject.

While the museum is generally well-maintained, some reviewers note that certain exhibits could benefit from updates or more interactive elements. The information provided is thorough, but at times the presentation can be somewhat dry for those not deeply interested in the subject matter.

For visitors with a specific interest in agricultural or industrial history, the Nationaal Tabaksmuseum offers a wealth of information. However, for general tourists, the appeal may be more limited. The museum's location in Wervik is convenient for those exploring the region, but it may not be a primary destination for most travelers.
