The National Organ Museum is the only museum in The Netherlands devoted to the history of the Dutch pipe organ. The museum possesses a large and unique collection of playable organs, ranging from 18th century cabinet organs to the huge Boon-Leeflang organ from the years 1957-1980. The collection is housed in the oldest building of Elburg, the Arent thoe Boecophuis. It was built in 1396 as a town castle for the Duke of Gelre and served as town hall from 1400 till 1954. The museum organises concerts on regular basis and guided tours can be arranged. For children there is an amusing and informative quest in the museum.
