The National Borstelmuseum is dedicated to the brush history of Izegem. Mainly in the period 1880 - 1930 the brush industry was big, but the story of the museum begins around 1760. The collection of the museum includes wire brushes, beard and mustache brushes and bottle brushes. In addition, the museum shows how brushes were made and what types of hair, and other substances were used in the process.
