The Museum of Soap (and History of Dirt) is a museum devoted to soap in Bydgoszcz. The museum offers visitors a journey through the history of cleanliness, dirt and soap making. Production of the Persil and Cypisek laundry soap originated in the city. A visit to the Museum of Soap begins with the washing of the hands in a tub, after which visitors can have a look in the workshop where soap makers show how to make soap. After the workshop visitors can enjoy the exhibits of the museum and learn about the history of dirt and get know all soapy secrets.
