The Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art was founded by Lama Tashi Norbu, an artist of Tibetan descent. Through the museum, Lama Tashi Norbu wants to awaken spiritual awareness in people all over the world, keep Tibetan art and heritage alive while embracing the West and so the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art was born. In June 2017, the museum opened its doors to the public in a large building of 700 m2 in the former animal park of Emmen, Drenthe, now called 'Rensenpark'. It has become a museum with ongoing activities and exhibitions by various artists. Here you will learn more about contemporary Tibetan art. Come see us at the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art!
