Museum De Stratemakerstoren is housed in a tower from the early 16th century that was only rediscovered in 1987. The museum illustrates the history of the ‘vestingstad’ Nijmegen. There are subterranean passages with niches in which cannons used to be placed. In addition, the museum organizes temporary exhibitions.
