The Museu Aeroespacial - MUSAL, located in Campo dos Afonsos, the birthplace of Brazilian aviation, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, is the largest and most important aviation museum in Brazil. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the history and development of aviation in Brazil.
The museum's collection is diverse and rich, consisting of various aircraft, engines, weapons and objects linked to the history of Aeronautics and Brazilian aviation. One of the highlights of the museum is a faithful replica of the 14 Bis, the first heavier-than-air device built by Santos Dumont.
