The Museo Marítimo Ría de Bilbao offers visitors an informative look into the maritime history of Bilbao and the surrounding region. Located in the former Euskalduna shipyard, the museum's setting itself is a nod to the city's naval past. Exhibits cover a range of topics from shipbuilding to the port's economic impact, providing context to Bilbao's development as a major maritime center.

Many visitors appreciate the museum's interactive displays and the mix of historical artifacts with modern technology, which helps to engage audiences of all ages. The recreated ship interiors and navigation simulations are often highlighted as particularly interesting features. The museum also receives praise for its efforts to preserve and showcase traditional Basque boats.

However, some reviewers note that the information provided could be more comprehensive, especially for those seeking in-depth knowledge about specific aspects of maritime history. A few visitors mention that some areas of the museum could benefit from updates or maintenance.

The museum's location along the Nervión River adds to the experience, with some exhibits offering views of the waterway. While generally considered good value for the entry fee, a few visitors suggest that the museum might be more appealing to those with a specific interest in maritime history rather than casual tourists.

Overall, the Museo Marítimo Ría de Bilbao provides a solid introduction to the region's naval heritage, though the depth of information and exhibit quality can be variable.
