The Museo Civico Lanuvino is divided into three sections, providing a chronological journey through history. The first rooms after the entrance are dedicated to the pre-Roman and Roman period. Here, visitors can see artifacts from the surrounding Ager Lanuvinus, suburban villas, and votive materials from the sanctuary of Juno Sospita.
Among the most significant finds displayed in the Museo Civico Lanuvino are a fresco from the Augustan age with Dionysian scenes, some marble fragments, and a marble parapet depicting a griffin from the Antonine age. These artifacts provide a glimpse into the artistic and cultural practices of the time.
The museum's medieval section displays a variety of artifacts from the Collegiate Church, including sculptural pieces, coins, pendants, and ceramics from the medieval and post-medieval period. These items offer a look into the religious, economic, and artistic aspects of life during these periods.
