Museo Archeologico "Filippo Ferrari"

The Museo archeologico di Guardiagrele "don Filippo Ferrari" is located in Guardiagrele, a town in the province of Chieti. The museum is home to a collection of weapons, pottery, and ornaments that date back to the period between the end of the 10th and the 3rd century BC. These artifacts were discovered in the protohistoric necropolis of Comino. Location and Management

Inaugurated in August 1999, the Museo archeologico di Guardiagrele "don Filippo Ferrari" is situated in Piazza San Francesco. It is housed on the ground floor of the municipal building, which was formerly a Franciscan convent. The museum is managed by the Guardiagrele branch of Archeoclub d'Italia, a national organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of Italy's archaeological heritage.

The museum displays about sixty funerary outfits, which were found in tumulus tombs dating back to the early Iron Age.
