The Museo Antica Casa Walser di Borca is an ethnographic museum situated in Macugnaga. It is dedicated to collecting, cataloging, and preserving objects and peculiarities of the rural life of the Walser population. The Walser people settled in the high Anzasca Valley, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. This museum provides a unique insight into the history and culture of this region.
The collection of the Museo Antica Casa Walser di Borca includes over 650 artifacts dating from the 16th to the 20th century. These artifacts were donated by residents of all the districts of Macugnaga and are made mainly of wood, stone, and iron. The collection provides a comprehensive overview of the region's history and the life of the Walser population.
