Fort Embourg is one of 12 forts around Liege built in 1888 for the defense of Liege in the late 19th century on the initiative of Belgian General Henri Alexis Brialmont. It is the first museum of fortification construction in Belgium and recounts the First and Second World Wars through a collection of weapons, costumes and equipment.
