The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris offers an extensive collection of decorative arts and design, spanning from the Middle Ages to the present day. Visitors appreciate the museum's diverse exhibits, which include furniture, textiles, jewelry, and graphic design. The building itself, part of the Louvre Palace complex, adds to the overall experience with its historical significance and architectural beauty.

Many reviewers praise the museum's well-curated temporary exhibitions, which often feature innovative themes and presentations. The permanent collection is noted for its comprehensive overview of French decorative arts, with particular emphasis on Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.

Some visitors mention that the museum can be overwhelming due to its size and the sheer volume of items on display. Navigation through the multiple floors and sections can be challenging for some, and a few reviewers suggest allowing ample time for a visit.

The museum's location in the heart of Paris is considered a plus, making it easily accessible for tourists. However, a few visitors note that it can get crowded during peak seasons.

While many find the admission price reasonable given the extent of the collection, some feel it's a bit steep compared to other Parisian museums. The museum shop receives positive mentions for its selection of design-related items and books.

Overall, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is generally well-regarded for its comprehensive collection and the quality of its exhibitions, offering a thorough look into the history of decorative arts and design. It's particularly recommended for those with a keen interest in these subjects, though casual visitors may find it requires more time and energy to fully appreciate.
